EMC's combined communications Manager earned the maximum
score for overall performance in InformationWeek's IT pro position: Data Center
Management report. The report targeted data center organization software that
automates, orchestrates & checks data center resources.
357 IT pros who use or have utilized & evaluated data
center management products evaluated 10 products on a mixture of criteria,
including common performance & data center-specific criteria. In addition
to EMC, analysis respondents consider in on products from Cisco Systems,
Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Symantec & VMware.
Reminder
that other vendors, including CA, BMC & Service Now, were included in the
first analysis but did not get a sufficient number of respondents for their
results to be reported.
